Traffic Islands
Our unique one-piece rubber traffic islands are surface fixed in under 30 minutes and offer excellent cost and time benefits compared with constructed, concrete and modular alternatives.
Our one-piece units are available in three widths (1000, 1200 and 2000 mm) and can be moulded with the Heritage paver pattern if required.
High pressure moulded into a solid unit, these durable islands incorporate a universal sign fixing plate and underside channelling enabling them to follow the camber of the road, as well as aid drainage and allow access for cables/conduit if required.
The one-piece islands can also be used as build-outs, pinch points and pedestrian refuges.

Our large islands are supplied in two halves to facilitate fast, safe and economical installation. As with the small Island, each half is of solid construction but flexible due to its underside channelling, enabling it to form comfortably to harsh cambers.
The universal sign plate connects the halves which are then drilled, bolted and installed in approx 40 minutes.
The two-piece units can be used to create traffic islands as well as pedestrian refuges, with surface mounted tactiles.

The one-piece traffic island can be extended to any length and the larger two-piece traffic islands can be extended length and width ways.
